Work

As a Support Engineer, your role will be varied and tailored to your specific expertise and specializations. You will be responsible for supporting our technical projects by building prototypes, conducting test work, and assisting with various other tasks such as creating concept sketches, conducting market research, programming, or providing project-specific support.

Our product ideas are thoroughly tested to ensure they meet both our and our customer’s requirements. As a Support Engineer, you will play a key role in performing these tests. Depending on your experience level, you may also help to improve the design of the test setup, the test process, and analyzing and processing of the results.

During an introductory meeting, we will discuss which of our activities would be the best fit for your skills and interests.

Support Engineer tasks:

- Realizing prototypes and test setups using various prototyping and production techniques. In our workshop, you assemble or adapt parts.  

- Performing tests, collecting data and providing reports thereof.

- Pragmatic support to project tasks and tasks within the organization.

- Other tasks depending on your specialization and knowledge and our current project activities.

Your profile

Our expectations of a Support Engineer

Are you currently pursuing an (applied) Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a similar field with a strong technical focus, and have completed at least your first year of studies? Are you searching for a flexible position within a product development company that offers the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in the field? If so, this opportunity may be suitable for you.

To be a good fit for this position, you should have an interest in product development, proficiency in both Dutch and English, and availability to work at least 2 days a week for a period of at least 3 months.

As a person, you should possess the following skills and attributes: being analytical and accurate, curious and pragmatic, having good communication skills to effectively convey your results, and enjoying working in a team environment.
